Basic Website Premise
Some links are paid advertising. While CYA cannot guarantee the services provided by paid links, efforts are made to list quality links with quality features, products and services.
Do you have auto dealer promos, model kits, sales brochures, showroom banners or any other automobilia? I might have an interest. I am particularly interested in any promos not currently available on my web site.
Do you run across bargains in antique malls, auctions, estate sales etc? I might be able to pay you a profit.

Organization
Most items are referenced by year. The only time this presents a problem is for an item that was produced for several years. The 53-55 Corvettes were similar models, for example. You will want to search all three years to make certain all bases are covered. The items that cannot be categorized by year will be found in the Miscellaneous pages.
I enjoy trading at shows. It's easy and fun.
Trading through the mail is another matter. The only way I will consider such a trade is to see your trade-in first and it must be accompanied by $8 (no cash) per car for possible return shipment. Since I do this for a living, my trade allowance will be 50% of projected value of the trade-in "as is" at the moment of trade. For more on this subject: Automotive Musings.
Once the "trade-in" value is determined, the difference, if any, is sent to me and I then ship you the car you want. You will then have the right to accept or reject the car within seven days.
Autohobby appraisal: There are two requirements for this service.
1..Send $15 for each car to be appraised.

Notice: I try to be honest and forthright in all things. Nevertheless, you must consider that a potential buyer such as myself might not be your best choice of seeking appraisal information.
I regret that I have to charge for this service, but since it requires my time and hard earned knowledge, I have to be compensated for it, especially in view of the large numbers of requests that I receive for free appraisals.
History
This site was opened 8/25/97 with no knowledge whatsoever of how to construct a web site. At that time I felt I could have 100% of my inventory online within one year. Time will tell. 8/25/98 has come and gone. Only about 30% of my inventory is now on the web site. Well, 8/25/99 has come and gone and about 60% of my promo inventory is online. Another year has come, 8/25/00 and I have 70% of my promo inventory online. Yet another year, 8/25/01, has passed and 75% of my inventory is now online. Wow, 8/25/02 moves it up to 80%. Moving up. 8/25/03 has 90% of my promo inventory online. Another year, 8/25/2004, and still around 90%. Only a small fraction of my miscellaneous automobilia is online at this time.
